Charleston Mercury. A Shocking I1omicu>b.?On Monday night of this week, says the Charlotte, (N. C.) Whig, of the 14th. in Providence neighborhood, in this county, three brothers, John James and David Sharp, got into a fracas, at the residence of the former, which resulted in thedeathofJ>>hn who was horribly mangled with knives. One of the others got his arm jnrofceii, and both received several had cuts. The survivors have fled, and the sheriff and his posse are now in pursuit of them. We forbear furthre particulars until the matter shall have undergone legal investigation. By subsequent news, for which we arc indebted to a friend and subscriber, written untdev date 17th instant, we learn that the tw o brothers were taken by the sheriff* of the county on Saturday, and committed to jail.
