Letters from Bombay speak of a disposition towards peace on the part of the Arva. The Dutch expedition against Borneo had proved successful. The corvette Snmtra had been destroyed by fire. Liverpool, Aug. 9.?The Cotton market is firm; the sales for the last three days amount to 25,000 bales. Flour is in good request, but the market is rather heavy.
