E. H. Heinitsh moved that Dr. A. S.
Hydriok be# Chairman of this Board.
Carried.
The Chairman read tho ordinance to
establish a Board of Health.
C. Barnum moved that we hold our
regular meetings on the Monday pre?
ceding the regular meotings of the City
Council, at 5 o'clock P. M. Carried.
Moved by. C. Barnum, that the decli?
nation cf John Altec ho accepted, and
tho City Council be requested" to elect
some one in his place. Carried.
Dr. Heinitsh moved that the Chairman
of this Board appoint a chairman of each
ward, who shall report in writing to this
Board at each meeting.

Prof. R. T. Greener; Ward 2, H. Daniels;
Word 3, E. H. Heinitsh; Ward 4, C. Bar?

occurrence of any case of contagious or
malignant disease in his practice, under
a penalty of $10 for each and every case
which he shall neglect (within twenty
four hours after his knowledge thereof)

The law requires the County Auditor
to assess all parties who fail to list their
personal property within the time above
noted, at tho same valuation as of 1871,
aud add a penalty of fifty per cent,
thereto; and all new buildings and
structures, not returned in 1874, must be
returned for the fiscal year 1875, and in
default thereof a penalty of fifty per
cent, will attach.
To facilitate the tax-payers in making
their returns for the hscul year 1K75, I
will attend in person ut the following
