A San Francisco paper thus
shows up the social amenities of
the Nevada Legislature: "Hogan
rose to speak on the Virginia and
TJmatilla Railroad bill, when Van
H?gen rose and said he hoped
Hogan would be decent. Hogan
made some reply, when Van H?gen
took up a book which was lying
upon his desk and threw it at the
head of Hogan.
