Section 1. Be it enacted by iho Senate,
and Bouse of Representatives of the
State of South Carolina, now met and
silting in General Assembly, and by the
authority of Uie same, That the follow

and they are hereby, appropriated to
the objects harein Darned, out of tho
proceeds of the tax of \% mill*, levied
in pursuance of Section 1 of an Act
entitled "An Aot to raise supplies for

1, 1874," that is to say: 1. For tho
salary of the Governor, S3,500; for
the salary of the Governor's Private
Secretary, $2,000; for the salary of
the Governor's mc68cnor, $500. 2.
For the ealary of the Lieutenant-Go
vernor, $2,500. 3. For the salary of
the Secretary of State, 93,000; for the
ealary of the Clerk of tho Secretary of
State. $1,500. 4. For the salary of
the Comptroller-General, $3,000; for
