The New York Herald pablishes a
letter from Stanley, dated December
13, 1874. He had marched twenty
five days from Zanzibar into the oonn

and spirits. Upon reaobiog a tillage
called Bagamoys. hi? men save way to
their thirst for liquor, and for a time
made a perfect hell of the plaee?
brandishing their knives and insulting
the citizens. After five days, the stock
of fire-water haying given out, Stanley
got the men started, and be is now on
his way to find the true sources of the
Kile. After he gets through, the
school children will have a new geogra?
