The quantity of organic matter which ia
atill present in about 12 nor cent., and tbia
yields about 2$ per cent, of ammonia. A
portion of the nitrogen is preaent as nitric
acid of which about 3 percent, were found.

lent to about 3} percent, of ammonia. The
phosphoric acid in the Guano averaged
about 12J per cent., equal to 27.3 per oent.

it is a valuable manure."

Agricultnral Society, eays: "As shown by

food, and the forms and combinations in
