flour merchant of this olty, died March

by name. The will was duly admitted
to probate; (Boon afterward a lady,
residing in. the Eastern District,
Brooklyn, and nailing herself Jane
Shields, began an action against the
executors of Henry Shields for dower,
representing that thirty ?r forty years
ago she was married to Henry Shields,
who was tbeh'in cdmpatatitely posr
circumsiaueee. She had flve children
by him, some of whom are dead. About
twenty-six years ago, when Mr.

ever, to support his wife and family.

He established himself in an elegant

expensive manner. They are said to

case was before Justice Tappen, in
