The disease is declared by Mr. Greathead to be of bydatid growth, and that the germs of it floating about iu certain impuro atmospheres were inhaled by human beings. For a grown person, four drops of sulphuric acid diluted in three-quarters of a tumbler of water; with a smaller dose for cbildreu. Tho effect of this treat? ment was soid to be instantaneous; the n^id at once destroying tho parasites the patient ooogbiug up iho ob? struction. The papers have teemed with accounts of sufferers who bad re? covered, iu u few minutes by adopting the ''Greathead" treatment. Children, almost previously in a dying Btate, were declared to be ploying almost within ten minutes; aud at a moderate computation, some forty or fifty of these sudden recoveries have been placed on record with full particulars.
