On tbe 13lh of last March, Side Wallace, tbe Johnson County desperado, was hung at Olarksville. Wallace being highly connected, the execution created great exoitement at the time, aud vengeance was threat? ened by bis friends against all engaged in it. Yesterday morning, Kline, who conducted the execution, left this city for Olarksville, accompanied by a young man, named Banks. Reaohiug the depot at Olarksville, they started on foot for the town and were fired upon from the roadside by some un? known person? Kline was mortally and young Banks slightly wounded. One Robinson, a cousin of Side Wal lace, was arrested and identified as the party who did the shooting.
