IN announcing the fifth and last of the series of Gift Concerts, given for the benefit of the Public Library of Kentucky, the Trustees and Manager refer with pride and pleasure to the fonr which havo been already given: The first, December 10,1871! the second, December 2, 1872; the third, July 8, 1873; and the fourth, March 31, 1874. Under their charter, granted by a special Act of (be Kentucky Legislature, March 16, 1871, the Trustees are authorized to 1 give ON K MORE, and ON L.Y ONE MORE lift Concert. With the money arising from this fiifth and last Concert, the Li? brary, Museum aud other departments are to be enlarged and endowed with a fired and certain annual i neu mo. Snch an en? dowment fund is dosired, as will secure, beyond peradventnre, not only tbo mainte? nance of this magnificent establishment, but its constant growth. THE FIFTH GIFT CONCERT, For the purposes mentioned, and which is positively and unequivocally announced as i THE LAST WHICH will EVER be GITEN UNDER this CHARTER AND BY THE PRESENT MANAGEMENT, will oomo off in the Public Library Hall, at Louisville, Kentucky, FRIDAY, JULY 31, 1874.
