They hanged Sol Bragg in Texas tho

From early morning until the hour ap?

foot of tho gallows, Sol alighted, and
with his arms tied behind him and tho
rope around his neck, he was led upon
the platform. The Sheriff then said
that if the people would keep silent,
Sol would make them aspeeob, where?
upon a loud oall for Sol was made. He
eame forward, with head and shoul?

life and the moral of it. He con?

Texas, Arkansas, Colorado, California
and Mexico, and asked all those pre?

Somebody, evidently the proprietor
of a livery'stable, writes in one of the
Chicago papers: "The humanity of
the pedestrians is almost without ex?
ception. Qiven, a man with the
wealth of an Astor, and a brain that
would out-weigh Noah Webster's or
Jim Fiak's by un ounce, also a snip of
a dry goods clerk or reporter on an
evening paper, if the former be afoot
and the latter in a buggy, the man of
brains will waive all bin right of way,
and all other rights, in favor of the
man of the rein?. ? There is a mysteri?
ous sometbingin -even the temporary
possession of a horse and buggy which
gives the possessor an inexplicable ad?
vantage over the pedestrian."
