MwJon Telegraph, 13th: "Mr. James Knight, the oldest citizen of Macon, and possibly the oldest man in Georgia, died in thfa city yesterday morning. Mr. Knight wea a native of North Caro? lina. He oame to Georgia ninety yean ago. Thomas Knight, who died last week, at the age tf nearly foar-score years, vraa the youngest of his three children. It is not known precisely how old Mr. Knight was, as there was . no record of the exact date of his birth;' but it is believed that his age was some 108 or 110 years. Certainly it was over a century.
