Rio Janeiro gives tho particulars of the
murder in Mariuhnm, of a young girl,
by Judge Pontes Viagueiro, aged sixty
five. The Judge, it Boeun, was infatu?
ated by the girl, who was oulj sixteen
years of age. Proving uufaithful to
him, as he thought, he brc.wuu greatly
onrugod against her, but left tho place
for a year thai, ho might forgot. Ou re?
turning, accompanied by a man em?
ployed to assist iu the murder, he en?
ticed tho girl to his roams, and as she
entered ?be was seized by the acoom
