INDIANA TO XHE FRONT.-Tba Demo oratio State Central Committee of lodi? ana baa issued an address to tba Demo orats and Liberal Republicans of tbat State, in which they congrat?late the I voters of both parties on the susoess j with whiob they met the organised and compact forces of the Administration. The viotory would have been more oom* plete, they say, had not a small element j ol the party remained at home on eleu* tion day. This element, however, will I now appreoiate the importance of entire union in their ranks, and rally to the support of the ticket in November. The unscrupulous men who invoked the cor? rupting influence of money and fraudu? lent Votes have not yet accomplished all they had hoped, and the result shows that a majority of the legal voters of the State are in favor of reform and opposed to the present Administration. A united effort on the part of thoso who feel that the welfare of tho country requires a ohange of administration, ia all that is j needed to secure the ?lectoral vote Bf Indiana for reconciliation and reform, The address cou eludes as follows: . Amid unmerited calanaoy the Liberal Republicans have stood faithfully and trne to tho cause represented by our tickets. They have given an unwavering support to the State ticket, in the selec? tion of which they had no voioa. The Democratic masses stood in almost on broken line in support of the principles j of constitutional liberty and good go? vernment, aa declared in the Cincinnati and Baltimore platforms. The late elec? tions folly demonstrate that if all who ar? opposed to continuing the present corrupt Administration, and the more corrupt ring whioh controls it in power, will act together, it can and will be de? feated,, and the nominees of the Cincin? nati and Baltimore Conventions elected in its stead. This is a great contest-a contest between the people on the one hand and a corrupt army of offioe-hold ers on the other. It is to be determined in this contest whether an Administra? tion whioh has lost the confidence and respect of a vast majority of the people can perpetuate its power by the corrupt? ing influence of its patronage and the free nse of money, or whether the people are yet strong enough to defeat the com? bined effort of bad men, and once more | place their Government on the sound basis of fraternity, honesty and econo? my. Democrats and Liberals, in the straggle that yet remains, let ns move forward aa one man. Let there be from this time forward but one party, stand? ing on a common platform, the platform of the Oin oin nat i and Baltimore Con? ventions, and doing: battle for a common object-the redemption of our country from this rule, ana . the restoration of harmony and brotherly love tbroughont all oar borders, and viotory must peroh upon oar standard. Another disgusting phase of Pennsyl? vania political corruption is out. The Scranton Free Prese chronicles the ar? rest of the Mayor and postmaster of that] city, with that of several prominent Grant officiais, on charge of bal lot-box stuffing and. bribery. The charges, whioh are specifically made, are astound? ing. These men are alleged to have bought votes, bribed judges, and nsed all the blaok arts known to election, cor rnptiohists. Moreover, the affidavits in these cases are already in band. The whole business is eminently Pennsylva? nian, or, we .should say, Oameronian.l If these revelations continue, the world will have new views of "the great moral victory" in the Keystone State.
