Superstition prevails to a great extent in Hungary, a signal proof of which was recently given in the little village of Gyongyoa. ? rumor having somehow got abroad that a certain tailor who died a year ago, and who WBB very popular among his people, would riso again from the grave and preach to them on a cer? tain day, the report obtained universal belief. In spite of the injunctions of the curato of the village, 200 people be? took themselves to the gruve of the de? parted and there stayed two whole days and nights in the hope of witnessing his resurrection. Finding at last that the - holy one did not make bis appearance, the disappointed villagers returned home with their banners aud emblems, feeling not a little mortified at their silly ex? hibition.
