A MriiUNER PRINOE53 IN LONDON.
Late London papers contain the an?
nouncement of tho Princess Pierre Na?
poleon Bonaparte, who has opened a
milliner shop in Bond streot. The rea?
son for taking this step is very frankly
avowed by the Princess Pierro Bonn
parte, which is simply to gain tho moaus
of which tho revolution has suddenly
deprived her, and to enable her to edu?
cate her three children, who aro de?
scribed as "remarkably beautiful and
full of promise."

ROUGHLY: POINTED.-Air. Duke, of
Virginia, in, a speech in tho House of
Representatives, on Saturday, in eulogy
of the Virginio judiciary, which had j
boen assailed by Mr. Platt, said: "I
might as well talk about defending a lion
of the forest from tho attacks of a
chinch bug, ns to talk about defending
tho judiciury of Virginia from the as?
saults of my colleague."
A curious lunatic made his appearance
a few days ago, in the Luzombourg Gar?
dens, in Paris, and, before an excited
audience, commenced tearing np bank
notes, each for 1,000 france, with a re?
morseless indiff?rence. Before he could
be checked in his destructive little game
he had torn np thirty of tho notes.
