Be it enacted by tine Senate and House of Representatives of- the Stale of South Carolina, now met and sitting in General Assembly, and bv the authority of the same, That Section 15, of an Act to organize and govern tbe militia of the State of South Carolina, approved March 16,1869, is hereby altered and amended, so aa to read: The duties of the Quar termastor-Genoral shall devolve npon the Adjutant-General in times of peace. -Ssa 2; That the office of Assistant Adjataot-Gouoral be, and is hereby, abo? lished, and the duties of that office are 1 hereby conferred npon the Adjutant-1 General. Ssc. 3. That all Aots, or parts of Acta, inconsistent with this Act, be, and the | same are hereby, repealed. Approved February 2, 1872. AN ACT TO REGULATE THE MANUFACTURE I AND BADS OF COMMERCIAL FERTILIZERS | IN THE STATS OF SOUTH GASOLINA. SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the State of South Carolina, now met and sitting in General Assembly, and by the authority of the same, That ali commercial fertilizers manufactured, Bold, or kept for aale, in the State of Sooth Carolina, shall have affixed to every bag, barrel or parcel thereof, a written or printed label, which shall a pee i fy the name of the manufac? turer and seller, their respective places | of business, and the constituent parts thereof. Bsc. 2. Whoever maanfaatares, sells, or keeps for sale, any commercial fer? tilizer or fertilizers, not labeled in accordance with the provisions of the preceding seotion, and whosoever shall affix to any bag, barrel or other parcel ot any fertilizer, any label not truly specifying tho constituent parts thereof, and the name of the manufacturer, and seller, shall be punished by a fine.of! twenty dollars for the first offence, and a | fine of forty dollars for the second and every subsequent offence; one-half of i ?which shall, in every case, be for the use | ot the prosecutor. D. 1868 be, and the same is hereby, repealed; and tho datios heretofore performed by the Commissioner of Agriculture shall be, and the same are hereby, conferred apon tho Secretary of State. SEC. 2. Beit enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives' of the State of South C'irolina, now met and sitting in General Assembly, and by the authority of the same, That the charter of the Belief Loan Association, passed on the twen? tieth day of Dooemb?r, in tho year of oar Lord ono thousand eight hundred and fifty-six, be, and is hereby, revived and extended for the term of five years, from the date of this Aot. SEC. 2. The said Association is hornby ro-in vested with all the rights of proper? ty which it had at the expiration of its charter, or which its trustees may havo acquired siuoo; and shall have power to sue for uud collect ull amounts duo to the said Association, or its trustees, aud to sell and convey all the said estate, real or personal, for the closiug up of the said Association.
