For a druggist's wife-Ann Eliza. At a late hoar on Thursday night of last week a family in Clinton, Iowa, waa arouBod by a pistol shot. A little boy persisted in asking, "Why did the man shoot himself?" and, after being quieted and sent baek to bed, woko up several times in affright and repeated the ques? tion. Strangely enough, the next morn? ing the corpse- of a suicide was found not far from the house. Step by step women are becoming tho masters ef men.
