to Cincinnati, and compelled that officer

The prisoners were charged with coun?
terfeiting, an offence of which tho Fede?
ral courts alono have jurisdiction. Tho
rescuo makes a caso clearly within tho
provisions of the Ku Klux bill, and it is
to he hoped that the remedy will bo ap?
plied.
