next, to fill said vacancies for tho unexpired
term thereof, within the said Counties, re?
spectively. The Commissioners of Elections,

ing for tho General Elections, and the manner |
of conducting tho same," approved Maren 1,
1870, aro authorized and directed to conduct
the aaid special elections, respectively, and to
mako all necessary arrangements therefor,
and each of them are hereby required, after
due oublication, and with strict regard to tho I
provisions of tho Constitution and the laws ol
the Stale touching tbeir duties in Buch caso,
