EXPLANATION OF THE CERTIFICATE AWARDS.
Purchasers select theii own numbers anywhero from 1 to 78, and, for example, say,
pay for the samo ono dollar. The vendor giveB tho pnrchaBer a Certificate, with thc number
or numbera selected, and enters tho same cumber or numbers upon tho Company's Register,
[with the amount BO paid,} to be returned to tho omeo of the Company by the vendor before
the raffle takes place. Purchasers may select a one number certificate, or a two number
certificate, br a throe number certificate, or a four number certificate.
A singlo number certificate means a cingle number aeleoted by tbe buyer any where from
1 to 78,'abd should that number be taken ont, in tho twelve numbers ao talion from tho Baffle
Cylinder,the purchaaerwiubeobtitled toan Award of four times tho value of shares in the
raffled property, or oost of the original certificate of abares.
A two number certificate means if the two numbera ae the certifica to cornea out in tho
twelve numbera taken! from the Baffle Cylinder, will entitle tho successful holder toan Award
of abarca in tho raffled property bf twenty times the value or coat of the original certificate
of shares.
A three number certificate means if thc three numbers on tho certificate come out in the
twelve so taken from the Raffle Cylinder, will entitle the holder to an Award of ahareein tho
raffled property of 120 times tbs value or cost of the original certifica to of abarca; If but
two of the nnmberB are ont in the throe on tho certificate, the purchaser will receive an
Award of twice tho amount of thevaluo or coat of tho original certificate.
A four number certificate means if tho four numbers on the certificate como out in tho
twelve BO taken from tho Baffle Cylinder, the purchaser will be entitled to an Award of aharcs.
In the raffled proporty cf 800 timea tho value or cost of tho original certificate of shares. If
but three of the numbers on the certificate are ont in tbo raffle, the purchaser will receive
an Award of ahaxos in the refiled property of ten times the val?o or cost of tho original cer?
tificate of shares.
A person mav invest in a certificate of t hares in theae raffles an amount email or large as
ho picaneo. The Company's Schedule List of Awards ia mado out at thc rate ot ono dollar
for certificates, but certificates will be imued of the value of 25, 50 and 76 cents; also, (1, $2.
