Cylinder, and each number wi'l ho recorded ou tho official hooks of tho Company in the order

EXPLANATION OF THE CERTIFICATE AWARDS.
Purchasers select their own numbers anywhere from 1 to 78, and, fornample, say,
pay for the same one dollar. Tho vendor gives ibo purchaser a Cert iflcate, with the nnmber
or numbera Bclecled, and outers tho same number or numbers upon tho Company's Register,
[with tho amount so paid,] to ho returned to tho Office of ibo Company by the vendor before
the raffle takes place. Purchaser a may select a ono nnmber certificate, or a two number
certificate, or a three nnmber certificate?, or a four nnmber certificate
A single nnmber certificate moans a eingle number selected by tho boyer anywhere from
1 to 78, ana should that number bo taken out, in the twelve numbera so taken from the Baffle
Cylindor, the purchaser will be entitled to an Award of four times the value of shares in tho
raffled property, or eost of the original certificate of shares.
A two number certificate means if the two numbers SB the certificate comes ont in the
twelve numbers taken from the ltafllo Cylinder, will entitlo the successful bolder to an Award
of shares in tho raffled property of twenty timen tho value or coat of the origmal ^certificate
of shares.
A three nnmber certificate mc ans if the threo numbore on the certiik.-.to ecrao oat in. tho'
twelve so taken from the Ballia Cylinder, will entitle the bolder to an'Award of shares fn thtr
raffled property of 120 times the value or coat of tho original certificate ol shares. If bat

A four number certificate means if the four numbera on the certificate come ont in (ho*
twelve so taken from tho Baffle Cylinder, the purchaser will be entitled to an Award of abarre

A person may invest in a certificate af charca tn theae refiles an amount email or large as
ho p?eseos. The Company's Schedule List of Awards is made out at thc rate of ono dollar
for certificates, but certificates will bo issued of tho value of 25. 50 and 7G centa; also, SI, $2,
(3, M, $5 and to flO, and np wai du, and tho Awards delivered ?io rata to the schedule list of
rates.
The above explanation will enable any ono (heiring to take a share in these raffles, to elo so
understandingly, and tho rallies, being fairly and honestly conducted in public by tho sworn
Commicsioner and exactly at tho hours named, they afford a safer n.eans of investment than
any other business speculation.
Tho first Properly and Land Scheme of the Company will be issued in o short
