EXPLANATION OF THE CERTIFICATE AWARDS.
Purchasers select their own numbora anywhere from 1 to 78, and, for example, say,
pay for the same one dollar. The vendor gives the purchaser a Certificate, with* the number
or numbers selected, and enters tho same number or numbera upon the Company'B Register,
[with the amount so paid,] to be returned to tho Office of the Company by the vendor before'
tho raffle takes place. Purchasers may select a one number certificate, or a two number
certificate, or a three number certificate, or a four number certificate.
A singlo number certificate means a singlo number selected by the-boyer anywhere from
1 to 78, and should that number bo taken out, in the twelve numbers so taken from the Baffle
Cylinder, tho purchaser will be entitled to an Award of four times the vaina of abares.in tho
raffled property, or ooat of tho original certificat o of shares.
A two number certificate moana if the two numbera as tbe certificate comes ont in the
twelve numbers taken from the Raffle Cylinder, will entitle the successful holder toan Award
of Bhares in tho raffled property of twenty times the value or coat of the original certificate
of share?. . . . ' '.. . .
A three number certificate meana if tho three numbers on the certificate ooma out in the
twolve so taken from tho Baffle Cylinder, will entitle the bolder to an Award of shares in the
raffled property of 120 times the value or coat of the original certificate ol shares; If but
two of tho numbers are out iu the three, on the certificate, the purchaser will receive an
Award of twice tho amount of the value or cost of tho original certificate.
A four number certificate means if tho four numbers on the certificate come out in tho
