If, then, it ia trno, ;aa has been stated, and I believe truthfully stated, that the .taxes already collected this year will yield to tho State Treasury '82,000,000, such sum is suffi? cient to pay the expenses of the State government for two year?, and the fall of 1872, or the spring of 1873, will be early enough to collect taxes ? again.
