Jacksonville, Hibernia, Green Cove, and
many other places in various parts of 1'hu ida,
can bo safely recommended to consumptives
in winter. My reaaons for sa)ino BO aro that
patienta aro lesa liable to take cold there than
whero there ia a li ss even temperature, and it
ia not necessary to say that whero a consump?
tive person exposes himself to frequent colds,
ho is certain to dio abortiv. Therefore, my
advice ia, go well down into tho State, eut ot
tho reach of prevailing East winda and fogs.

Philadelphia every week, where I saw and ex?
amined on an average five hundred patients a
week. A practice so extensive, embracing
every possible phase of lung disease, baa cnn

person may take vast quantities of ..Schenck'e

In Florida, nearly everybody ia using
Schenck'e Mandrake Pills, fcir thu c'iniate it

not. They take what they term a little cold,

will wear oil in a fow days. They pay no at?
tention to it, and hence it lays the foundation
for another and another at iii, until the lunge
are diseased bcyoud all hope for cure.
My advice to persons whoso lungs are
affected even slightly is, to lay in a stock ol
Kchenck's Pulraonic Syrup, Scheuck'a Seaweed
Tunic and Scheuck'a Mandrake Pills and gr
to Florida. 1 recommend these particulai
medicines because I am thoroughly acquaint
ed with their action. I know that where thc-)

Now mero aro many consumptives who havi
not tho means to go to Florida. Thcquestioi
may bc asked, ia thero no. hopo for such
Certainly there is. My advice to such ia. am
ever haabcon, to stay in a warm room durin(
the winter, with a* temperature of ahon
seventy degrees, which should be kop
regularly at that point, by means of a Hier
m emu-ter. Let such a patient tako bis ex
crcise within tho limits of tho room by walk
ing up and down aa much aa his strength wii
permit, in order to keep up a healthy circula
tion of tho blood. I have cured thousand,
hy this system, anet can do so again. Con
sumption ia aa easily curod as any otho
diacaao, if taken in timo, and thc proper kim
of treatment is pursued. Tho fact stand
undisputed on ii_cord that Scheuck'a Pulmo
nie Syrup, Mandrake Filia, anel Seaweed Toni
have cured very many of what seemed to bi
hopeless caaca of en ns ump tion. Go wlier*
you will, you will bo almost certain to lim
some poor consumptive who baa been rescue*
from the ve ry jawa of death by their uae.
So far aa tho Mandrake Tilla arc concerned
everybody should keep a supply of them Ol
hand. They act on the liver better than calo
mel, and leave nono of its hurtful effects be
hind. In fact, they aro excellent in all ca*ei
