His letter, dated on New Year's day, written at, Ko m sba, Nubia, describes the ascent of enc cf thc cataracts, which wiw* accomplished by a force of 200 men banting upon four ropes. Seven letters written by this gentleman, and posted on the bauks of the Nile* have reached their destination. They are curried a distance of 400 miles, by relays of boys, eaob nf whom goes teu miles, with thu letters strapped about bis waist in belts. Mr. Grinuell is accompanied by bis wife.
