following statistics of that Couuty, as
obtained from tho County Auditor:
Number of acres of laud, 452,002;
number of buildings, 1,391; number of
horses. 2,022; number of mules, 1,083;
number of cattle, 15,381; number of
sheep aud goats, 12,330; number of boga,
20,813; number of dogs, 3,370; number
of persons liable to poll tax, 3,401; value
of real estate, $2,408.090; valuo of per?
sonal property, ?2,273,095; value of
buildings, $517.205; total valuo of pro?
perty, $5,199,059; nmouut of tax on
same, $57,199. This last item does not
include tlio poll tax of 3,491 persons,
which, if added to $57,189, would make
the total taxation for all purposes $60,080.
