As to some other parties named, it is so

to believe, the whole story. The whole
thing is so atrocious in its inception, so
cruel and devilish in its details, so re?
volting to the general mind of humanity,
that we would not wish to believe any
man in South Carolina to be guilty ol'
it; but when we consider that there was
somebody in our midst that planned the
killing of Dr. Shell and his companions,
in thu manner in which it was done, wu
must bo prepared to believe u great deal
more than we would wish to.
