most important stop is for tho patient to
avoid taking cold, and tho best of all places
on this continent for this purpose in winter,
is Florida, well down in tho Stato, where the
temperature ia r?gulai-, und not subject to
such variations as in more Northern latitudes.
Palai kn ia a point I can recommend. A good
hotel ia kept there by Pcterman. Lnat win?
ter I saw several persona there whose lunga
had been badly diseased, but who, under tbo

cines, were getting well.
Ono hundred miles further down tho river
ia a point which I would prefer to Palatka, ns
tho temperature ia more even and tho air dry

ference to Mellonvillo. It is two miles from
river or lake, aud it seems almost impossible
to take cold there. Tho tabba in Florida
might bu better, and patienta complain at

Jacksonville, Uibemia, Green Cove, and
