The case was somewhat delayed last week from tho absence of Lieut. Wm. S. Starring, one of the most important witnesses, who, it is stated, was sent away in search of tin? three ca? dets who left the academy on Wednesday uight. SINGULAR FATALITY.-lu West Pen n-s borough township tho Dunlap family have been afflicted with some singular disease, which medical treatment does not seem to relieve. Somo two weeks since Miss Nancy Dunlap-was taken sick and died in a few days. In tho mean? time Mrs. Phillips, of Illinois, a relative, and staying with the family, look sick ou the day of the first funeral. Mrs. Julia Dunlap, wife of William Dunlap, also took sick, und in a few days both were taken to the grave in ono funeral procession. About tho same timo Mrs. Boll, of Middlesex township, a sister of tho family, being there, took sick, nnd in a few days died. Mr. William Dun? lap, and Mr. McClay, a brother-in-law, who had been attending these people during their sickness, are now prostrated willi the same disease, and feurs are en? tertained that Mr. D. may not recover.
