all, und little rolls of paper separating thoBc
were placed in a wheel on one tide, while the
tickets were in another wheel oppoeito to the
former. Between thc two was a table, at
which Bat thc Judges ami Mr. John London,
Commissioner. The wheels wc-ro made with
{lass pides, so that everything within them
could he seen, ami wi-ro securely locked, until
the drawing began. This was done by meaus
of two little boys, who were securely blind?
folded, one drawing a number from ?.nc of tin
wheels and thc other thc prize l?> correspond
with it. There is no question but that tin
drawing was done in a perfectly fair and just
