Berlin was identified by Rocheretis. JACKSON, MISS., November 2.-Gen. W. Brantly, a prominent ex-Con federate officer, was brutally assassinated this morning near Winona. No clue to the murderer. This is tho third violent death at Winona within two mouths. The first was A. J. Brantly, assassinated two months ago; second, Capt. Correr, cousin of Brantly, killed by a mau named Collins.
