FATAL ACCIDENT.-Ou Tuesday morn?

quantity of kerosene oil upou the wood

fire not blazing rapidly enough, she
took thc oil can and began to pour addi?

denly blazed up and tho oil exploded iu
tho can, scattering the flame all over the
room. Her clothes took tiro at once,
and she rushed upon the balcony, where
she was overtaken. She was dreadfully
burnt, and medical aid was summoned
without delay. Tho injuries were pro
nounced futal, and the unfortunate wo
man died in ubout fifteen hours after
the accident occurred.

Mrs. Rebecca Hurrel died at her
house, iu Twiggs County, Gu., Monday
morning. She was born in 1707, and
therefore was 103 years old. She was a
