H. MOODOO and 3?. williamson, in ar?ting Mr. Jack Ward, of thia? Countj^yesterday, for unlawful distilling, the latter, making some Bhow of resistance, or nt least attempting to esoapo, was fired on by Mr. Mounce several times, whilst run? ning off, two of the balls taking effect and severely wounding Ward in both thighs, breaking the bone in one. We learn that Frack Williamson threw a stone at Ward, which struck him on the thigh, and the latter spoke of this as probably breaking the bone, but it is at the place where the pistol ball entered. It is though', the wounds aro not mortal. ?s the affair will probably undergo legal investigation, wo forbear comment on the circumstances. [Greenville Enterprise.
