authority of the same, That the Act en?
titled "Au Act to organize the Circuit
Courts," ratified the 20th day of August,
A. D. 1868, be amended in the 12th Sec?
tion as follows, viz: Change the first
Bontonoo in said Section So aa to read:
The several Circuit Judges shall have
power, in their discretion, to hold spe?
cial sessions of the Circuit Courts, within
their respective Circuits, or upon tho
ord?r of the Chief Justice, in any Cir?
cuit, Qf which the Judge presiding aimil

may direct, or aa may, iu bia judgment,

given.
SEO. 2. That all writs and processes is?
sued, or that may be issued, returnable

shall be regarded as returnable to the
next stated term of the said Court to be
holden thereafter.
