wings are attached. These wings strike
the air at about the same angle as the
wings of a bird do, and operate more
like screw propellers than the winga used
on any other flying machine yet propos?

BRIGHAM YOUNG ON POLYGAMY.-Brig?
ham Young claims that polygamy is not
peculiar to Mormonism. In a sermon
recently, be said that Father Abraham
had many wives, and he quoted many
others. Ho said God lind uever forbid?
den polygamy. Tho Saviour never re?
buked it, though surrounded by it. lt
was a DOW invention to rule out this
practioe of the olden time. But, said
