MOUNT.-At Greenmount Cemetery, *on
Saturday afternoon, Christi.m burial was
. giveu tbe remains of Johu V. ijkes Booth,
and nt thu samo timo tho dmd of three
other membors of the family, brought
from the eat ute in- Harford County, re-,
oeived final sepulture. The romains of
?all the deceased members of tho .Booth
family iu America uro now gathered in
one spot, and repose beside the nshos of
.the elder Junius Brutus Booth and ;of his
, fa th pr,, Richard Booth, who died ill 1619,
aged 70, tho resting piucos, of tho two
latter having been changed very recently
from Baltimore Cemetery to .Green?
mount.. The now family burial pl mo is
in a very eligible location in tho vulenear
tba spring, to tho right of tho chapel,
and . within easy access of ono of thc
main drives. On thia spot boa been re?
erected the well-known mouument to the
elder Booth, which formerly stood in
Baltimore Cemetery, bearing in relief on
its shalt a medallion of tho grout trage?
dian, and suitably inscribed to bis me?
mory, "Hie Jacet Matchless Booth!"
with datos of birth, (May 1st, 1700,) and
o? death, (November 30, 1852.) To those
inscriptions commemorative ol tho father
have been added on tho siUe of the shaft
previously left blank tho followfug:
"To the memory of the children of Ju?
nina Brutus Booth und Mary Ann Booth;
John Wilkes, Frederick, Elizabeth, Mury
Ann, Houry Byron."

fiendish act seems to have created little
oe uo feeling in Washington, the people
there, boih Democratic and radical, evi?
dently viewiug the case as ono of the le?
gitimate results of the promiscuous com?
mingling of whito and black children in
the same school.
TAX UPON NATIVE WINES AND BRAN?
DIES.-The statement that spirits dis?
tilled from tipples, peaches or grapes,
are exempt from taxation nuder tho laws
of Congress, is without any foundation.
The old law fixed tho tux upon brandy
distilled from these products nt $1.00
per gallon, at which time the tax upon
whiskey stood at $2. Wheu thc tax
upoti the latter article was reduced to
fifty cents that upon brandy was re?
duced to thu same amount, but under
the decision of tho Attorney-General,
persons engaged in distilling wino or
brandy from grape?, apples and peaches
wero exempt from the special tax of Si
imposed upon other distillers, and re?
quired to pay a special tax of ?50 only.

a fluid called chyle, which eventually becomes
blood.

tho gastric juice, is not produced in suflicicut
quantity, or if tho racchriiiieal action ot tho sto?
mach ia not snfllcicntly brisk, tho tlrst process
of digestion will ho but imperfectly performed.
It is also clear tha? if tho liver, which plays j
such an important part in changing thc non- j
rishing portion of thc ?divine into the material
of tho blood, is Congested, or in any unnatural j
condition, tho second process will not bo tho?

failures is dyspepsia, complicated with bilious?
