It consisted of five words-"Mrs. Roper is ray heiress"-with a codicil of four or fivo words moro, to the effect that tho name of his heiress, properly spelled, was Loper. He then folded tho sheet, stating in an en? dorsement that it was his will, to bo opened only in case of his death, and to be oxe? en ted by a certain named person, and that a copy of it was in the hands of his heiress. Thia will was contested in tho courts, but its legality was sustained. There ia a famous "sleepor" in theBicetre Hospital, Paris, concerning whom tho savans and physicians aro in despair. He has boen snoring away for six mouths, dur? ing whioh timo vain attempts have been made to shake, rub, whip and cudgel bim into consciousness. Ho is fed through a probe put into his nose, whence the food passes into his body, and is growing fat under tho treatment.
