Sawyer and Ficklin, mail conductors over
the Southern Pacific mail route, have en?
tered into contract to transport $2.000,000
in gold annually from Chihuahua to New
Orleans. The gold from that section has
hitherto boen ?eut to San Francisco, and
thence to England.
