on the line of the thirty-second parallel of
latitude to the Pacific Ocean ; which was
made the special order for Monday next, at
4.30 P. M.
The House returned, with amendments,
a bill to provide for the revision and con?
solidation of tho statute laws of the State
of South Carolina. The Senate not con?
curring, a Committee of Conference was
called for.
The report of the action of the Couuty
Commissioners of Marion Countj', relativo
to the laying off of said County into town?
ships, was referrod to the Commit tee on
County Offices and Officers.
The Committee on Incorporations, to
whom was referred a bill to incorporate tho
South Carolina Improvement and Trust
Company; also a bill to recharter the Mid?
dle Saluda or Jones' Gap lioad, iu Green?
ville. County; also a bill to incorporate cer?
tain societies in the city of Charleston,
reported back the same, with a recom?
mendation that they do pass. Ordered for
consideration to-morrow.
The Committee on the Judiciary, to whom
was referred a bill to regulate the manner
of granting a final dismissal to executors, ?
administrators, trustees, guardians and
committees hereafter by Judges of Probate;
also a bill to carry into effect the provisions j
of the Constitution in relation to the rights
of property of married women, reported
back tho same, with a recommendation Unit

The Committee on Incorporations, to

ter of the ferry across the Congaree River,

that the Comptroller-General of the State
be authorized, upon his receipt of a writ?
ten application from any officer of the Exe?
cutive Department, to provide and furnish
an office for tho use of said officer; and
that all accounts of expenses incurred in
carrying out the provisions of this Aot
shall be audited by the Comptroller-General,
who shall, if he approve the same, draw
his warrant for the payment thereof on the
State Treasurer, who shall pay the same out
of the contingent fund of the State. Or?

A bill to provide for tho uniform and
proper promulgation of all legal and public
notices, was introduced.
A resolution waa adopted that the account
of T. W. Radcliffe be referred to the Board
of Trustees of the University of South Ca?
