The conductor of a New York Central
Railroad train recently summoned nid to
put ont an unruly passenger, when it was dis?
covered that out of thirty-two gentlemen in
the car, twenty-nine carried revolvers.
An old gentleman in Roynlton, Ohio, who
wanted to marry a young girl, and was ar?
rested by his children on tho charge of
insanity, bas sinco eloped with her, and they
are now one.
Lightning struck the barn and stable of
Thomas J. Catos, in Hillsboro, N. C., on
Friday of Inst week, burning tho buildings
with their oontents, und killing two horses
. and a colt.
Whelan, the supposed murderer of Davy
Magee, is to be executed in Toronto, Cana
do, to-day.
