A DILEMMA.-A few days ago a workman on the Louisville sod Oincinnati Railroad was sent to tighten the bolts on the bridge which spans Bullock Pen Greek, in Kenton County. Arriving at the place he mounted the bridge, which, by the way, is eight feet high, and soon performed the work en? trusted to him. Unluckily, however, while he was screwing down the last bolt, he some? how or other got his pantaloons also screwed down fast and tight to the bridge, and to make matters worse, just at this critical moment he let his wrench fall. Here was a dilemma to be in. After looking around in vain for some one to rolieve him from his unpleasant position, he slipped off his boots, and after wriggling, twisting and squirming for about ten minutes, managed to get out .of his pantaloons. He thon climbed down, reoovered the wrenoh, re? turned to the top of the structure, and got his pantaloons loose. A woman, some dis? tance off, seeing tho man divesting himself of his clothing, thought he was crazy and about to commit suicide, whereupon she ran off to alarm some men who were at work a few hundred yards from her house; but before she got baok, the supposed lu? natic had donned his garments, and was quietly seated on the bridge. -o "Class in the middle of geography, stand up.
