Officers have been elected and business committees appointed. WASHINGTON, Ootober 20.-Inter? nal revenue receipts to-day $235,000. A despatch announces that Gov. Seymour will tako tho stump-mak? ing tho first speech of the campaign at Buffalo, October 22. The pressure for a partial change of candidates continues, and rather gains strength. Both tho New York World and Washington Intelligencer persist in urging a change. To-day's World says: "It was our wish then, as it is our determination now, that the views of Governor Seymour, and not those attributed by the Republi? cans to General Blair, should bo re? garded as the basis of the campaign on the Democratic side. Tens of thousands of credulous citizens, who incline towards tho Democratic party, have been retained in the Republican ranks by the raw-head-and-bloody bones of another civil war. Tho ab? surdity of this bug-bear leads us to under-estimate its capacity for mis? chief. It is astonishing that anybody could have believed that tho Demo? cratic party meant to disperse tho negro legislators by thc Federal army; but it is not all surprising that those who did so believe should vote against us.
