A young girl, the dnughte of wealthy parents, who was educate' at one of the seminaries iu Oxford fell in lovo with a young farmer wh was quite poor. The parents forbad her to have anything to say to bin but they managed to exchauge lettei through tho assistance of a youn minister. Finally, they proposed t elope, but the go-between becam enamored of tho lady, and preeaile on her to run ofi' with him instead < the farmer. They eloped nnd wei married.
