WASHINGTON, March 25.-About fifty German emigrants, of both sexes, brought to Baltimore by the new Bremen line, passed here for their new homes iu Virginia. They are to bo followed by some 10,000, who will seek homes South. The Canadian Government will apply through England for damages, including loss of life, caused by Fe? nian raids. The House amendment to the tax bill is very stringent in penalties for illicit distillations.
