Gentlemen: I am well pleased with tho result of tho use of the "Double Relined Fond rc t te" on my crops. I tried it on both corn and cotton, and am satisfied whorever it was applied the yield was moro than donblo what it would have been without it. I regret exceedingly my not using it more extensively the present year, but will try to make up my loss by purchasing a larger quantity next spring. Sir: Tho Double Refined Poudrette I bought for two other parties in connection with myself-one of them used it on cotton and corn, and thinks it answered finely; the other put it on cotton, on very poor ground, and thinks it doubled his crop. I used it on corn. It answered finely, and was thought by the hand that cultivated the crop to be fully equal to Rhode's Super Phosphate. I also used it on about an acre of cotton, and I am clearly of opinion that it is tho best and cheapest fertilizer in use, and I expeot to order several tons this winter. Several kinds of manures woro UBcd by ns, with tho except i u of your Poudretto, with little or no effect to tho crop. Where th? Poudretto was ui?ed, it gave us near half a halo moro per acre, and caused the cotton to open much earlier; and wo would, therefore, recommend tho samo as a concentrated manure for the growth of co'ton, as well as improvement to tho soil.
