lowing is a probable explanation of

eighteen feet from the bottom of the

living fowl thrown into it dies be?
fore it reaches the bottom, whioh is
strewed with carcasses of various
animals that have perished in the
deleterious gas." ?

mortgages the islands for throe years
as security for money.due for having
eaten some American citizens. The

President is to keep if the treaty is
ratified. No writings have been ex?
