Sir: The Double Refined Toudrette 1 bought, for two other parties in connection with myself-one of them need it on cotton and oorn, and thinks it answered finely; thc other put it on cotton, on very pool ground, and thinks it doubled his crop. 1 used it on corn. It answered finely, and was thought by the hand that cultivated tho crop to be fully equal to Rhode's Supei Phosphate I also \ised it on about ac acre of cotton, and I am clearly of opinior that it is the host and cheapest fertilize] in use, aud I expect to order several tom this winter. Where tho Poudrette was used, it ga\ us near half a halo more per acre, au caused the cotton to open much earlie and wo would, therefore, recommend tl samo as a concentrated manure for tl growth of cotton, as well as iroprovemei to tho soil.
