There they lived and died, and Jessie remained until she married; and all her life received every kindness from the family, who were indobted tc singular peculiarity for their comfort and happiness. Whether undo Hiram's spirit real? ly came back to earth or not, it is a question; but Mrs, Oulverton always asserts that it did, and quarrels with every one who ventures to doubt the assertion.
